Mission and Policy Analysis

Policy and Mission Analysis is the most recent addition to Paradigm's core set of capabilities and Paradigm has quickly become a recognized expert in the field. Paradigm's staff includes former members of the National Security Council staff, the Policy component of the Office of the Secretary of Defense and former Congressional staffers. Paradigm's expertise is at the nexus of policy, acquisition strategy and program management. Paradigm personnel have been designated as the Policy Liaison for the Missile Defense Agency, one of the largest acquisition agencies within the Department of Defense. Paradigm personnel also play leading roles in the Missile Defense Agency "Summer Study," the annual analysis to determine how the agency should update its acquisition plan in response to policy guidance, and is an Agency representative in various groups associate with the Department of Defense's Quadrennial Defense Review. Additionally, Paradigm is one of the leading contributors in the effort to develop a coherent export control regime, which both supports U.S. missile defense objectives and ensures the protection of the most-sensitive U.S. technology. Paradigm personnel have worked at the North Atlantic Treaty Organization to develop that organization's missile defense policy, have made key contributions to numerous analyses on the interaction between treaty policy and missile defense policy, and are actively engaged in developing the Missile Defense Agency's international strategy. Paradigm continues to expand its Policy and Mission Analysis efforts and is prepared to apply innovative concepts and ideas to its customers' policy issues.
